What should I do if I accidentally purchased an accessible ticket?
Please visit Guest Services near the main entrance to change your ticket type.
Alternatively, please submit an Accessibility Request Form via Moshtix.
Are carers and Companion Cards accepted?
We know that equal access can sometimes mean being accompanied by a carer.
Groovin The Moo offers complimentary companion tickets for Companion Card holders.
To request a companion ticket, please submit a request via the Moshtix support portal.
You’ll need your Moshtix order number and a copy of your Companion Card.
We are more than happy to facilitate companion swaps during the day if required.
Please speak to the Front Gate Manager or the Moshtix staff at Guest Services, located near the entry gates, on arrival.
Does Groovin The Moo have an Accessibility Hotline?
An accessibility hotline will be operating on the day of Groovin The Moo, monitored by the Accessibility Manager.
Please feel free to contact the hotline if you’re facing any access issues, need support, or have any questions related to accessibility.

Will there be Accessibility Liaisons onsite?
To help ensure a positive and safe experience for accessible patrons, Groovin The Moo will have a dedicated Accessibility Liaison team onsite, led by an Accessibility Manager.
They will be stationed on the viewing platform and roaming throughout the event.
They can be reached via the Accessibility Hotline or by asking event staff.
Are assistance animals welcome?
Assistance animals are welcome at Groovin The Moo.
If you would like to discuss how we can support you and your assistance animal onsite, please submit an Accessibility Request Form via Moshtix.
Is accessible parking available?
There will be dedicated accessible parking spaces located in the Harold Fredericks carpark for patrons with a valid accessible parking permit.
These spaces are not timed.
Please follow the directions of traffic controllers when arriving at the car park for directions on where to park.
Once parked, the route to the main entry is accessed via concrete and tarmac surfaces with ramps to go up and down guttered roads.
This is inside a road closure to help increase safety when crossing Dawson Street.
Where is the accessible entrance?
The accessible entrance is located at the main event gates on Dawson Street.
The accessible lane is identifiable by signage and is on a concrete path.
Is there accessible drop off and pick up?
Accessible taxi and rideshare drop off / pick up will be located within “The Quad” car park, directly across from the festival site.
This location includes ramp access and continuous concrete pathways connecting the car park to the accessible entry and festival exit points for ease of access.
What should I know about moving around the site?
The Oakes Oval site is a mix of surfaces such as grass, concrete and gravel, with some areas featuring uneven ground and slopes.
Accessible pathways will connect key areas of the site including stages, amenities and the viewing platform.
Please note that some areas may become congested during peak times.

What are the ground surfaces like onsite?
This event is hosted on a sports oval, so please be aware that the grassed areas can become soft (spongy) when there has been recent rain.
Please prepare adequately to ensure mobility is not compromised.
Our Accessibility Manager can assist if you are stuck or need assistance moving between areas.
All major facilities including entry, toilets and food vendors can be accessed without needing to go on the grass.
Are ramps available onsite?
Both the Lyn Larsen and Craig Foster grandstands have accessible ramps and dedicated wheelchair parking.
The Lyn Larsen grandstand is where the accessibility viewing platform will be located.
To access the VIP area, there is a lift at the rear of the Gordon Pavilion that can provide access to the VIP bar, VIP concierge and VIP food vendor. Unfortunately, there is no ramp into the grandstand seating area.
The rest of site is flat or has a slight incline with ramps provided to go between spaces safely.
Are accessible toilets available?
Accessible toilets will be available across the site, including near the viewing platform and within general amenities blocks.
These facilities will be clearly signposted and listed on the patron map.
Where are the accessible toilets located?
There are 3 accessible toilets located onsite — one at each plumbed toilet block.
These are located near:
– Main Entry
– Stage Left (between VIP and Main Stage)
– Crozier Oval
Please note: VIP does not have dedicated accessible toilets.
Is there an accessible viewing platform?
An accessible viewing platform will be available at Groovin the Moo.
The platform is a shared space for accessibility patrons plus one companion (carer or friend).
There is a continuous concrete path of travel from the Accessible Entry to the viewing platform.
Chairs will be available and the platform will be staffed by event crew who are there to assist throughout the day.
Are accessible event facilities available?
Bars, Anything Anytime (Merch/Cloakroom) and Recycling points will include accessible service counters where possible.
These will be identifiable by signage.
What should I know about lighting and special effects?
Please note that performances may include strobe lighting, lasers, smoke, flames, CO₂ effects and fireworks.
If you have sensitivities to these elements, we recommend planning your viewing areas accordingly.
Will there be a hearing loop at the event?
Unfortunately, there will be no hearing loop at this event.
Can I bring food or drink for access requirements?
We aim to cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and food allergies across our food vendors.
If you have specific food allergies or medical requirements, please submit a request via the Moshtix support portal to arrange approval for bringing in essential food items.
Hydralyte and electrolyte products are permitted, provided they are sealed, unopened and in their original packaging.
Can I bring medication?
Prescription medication is permitted into the event, provided it is in its original packaging with a pharmacy label matching the name on the ticket holder’s ID.
Please only bring the amount required for the duration of the event.
If you require storage for temperature-sensitive medication, please notify a member of staff on entry and you will be directed to the medical team.
All bags are subject to security search upon entry.
Over-the-counter medication for personal use, e.g. Panadol, Nurofen, is also permitted.
Is First Aid available?
Groovin The Moo will have a Medical Facility and a Party Safe space onsite.
The Party Safe team will also be roaming the site and are available if you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsafe or unwell.
What are the emergency evacuation procedures?
In the unlikely event of a site evacuation, please make your way to the accessible exit point and follow the directions of event staff and security.
The Accessibility Liaison team will be available to assist if required.

Cream Of The Crop
Want to go VIC (very important cow) for the return of Groovin? This is your upgrade to be the cream of the crop and access grandstand seating, real (plumbed in) toilets, air conditioned bar and your own entry lane.

Teen tickets must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian.

Mini Moos (Under 12)
Free but require a ticket (request here), must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. Terms and conditions apply.
Youth Tickets are available as an Add On only and must be purchased with a valid 18+ General Admission or 18+ Cream Of The Crop ticket.
Please note that a maximum of two Minor tickets (Youth and Mini Moo) can be purchased per one 18+ ticket. If you have already purchased two Youth tickets, you will not be able to add a Mini Moo ticket.
All patrons must have a valid ticket for entry. All patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a Responsible Adult aged 18 years or over. Minors must remain with their Responsible Adult at all times while on site.

Ticket affordability programs
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and select Concession Card holders are able to enter for a chance to purchase one General Admission ticket for $90+BF. Successful entrants will receive a code to purchase one (1) General Admission ticket in April 2026 and will have up until the day of the event to purchase tickets. Entry forms coming soon.
Is it all ages?
Yes. Groovin The Moo Lismore is an all-ages event. Children under 12 attend free with a Mini Moo ticket (request here) when accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. Ages 12 to 17 require a $90 + booking fees youth ticket and must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. Everyone attending the festival requires a valid ticket for entry.
Under 18s FAQs and Terms
Is Groovin the Moo an all ages event?
Yes. Groovin the Moo is an all ages event held on licensed premises in NSW. All patrons must comply with the Event Conditions of Entry and NSW liquor laws.
What tickets are available for under 18s?
We’ve got two options for our younger Moo crew:
Mini Moo’s are for children under 12 years of age and are free of charge (redeemed via request form).
Youth Tickets are for patrons aged 12 to 17 years and are $90 plus booking fee.
Youth Tickets are available as an Add On only and must be purchased with a valid General Admission or Cream Of The Crop ticket. Mini Moo tickets are redeemed via this form. Please note the total Youth and Mini Moo tickets able to be purchased against one general admission ticket is 2. If you already have 2 Youth tickets are the time you submitted the request for a Mini Moo ticket(s), your request will be denied. Mini Moo tickets will be added to order before the event.
Can people under 18 attend?
Yes. Patrons under 18 years of age are permitted to attend, subject to the Conditions of Entry and any applicable liquor licence requirements.
Do under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult?
Yes. All patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a Responsible Adult aged 18 years or over. Minors must remain with their Responsible Adult at all times while on site.
What is a Responsible Adult?
Under the Liquor Act 2007 NSW, a Responsible Adult means an adult who is: a parent or step parent of the minor
a legal guardian of the minor, the spouse or de facto partner of the minor who is over 18 years of age OR standing in as the parent of the minor for the time being
Can an 18 year old friend act as a Responsible Adult?
Under NSW law, a Responsible Adult includes an adult who is standing in as the parent of the minor for the time being. However, the Event liquor licence conditions will determine whether accompaniment is required and how it applies at this Event.
Can under 18s drink alcohol if they are with their parent or guardian?
No. Under NSW law, minors must not be sold or supplied alcohol and must not consume alcohol on licensed premises. This applies even if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What happens if someone supplies alcohol to a minor?
Supplying alcohol to a minor on licensed premises is an offence under the Liquor Act 2007 NSW. Groovin the Moo has a zero tolerance policy for secondary supply. Any person found supplying or attempting to supply alcohol to a minor may have their ticket cancelled, be removed from the Event and may be referred to NSW Police.
Will ID be required?
Yes. Patrons aged 18 years and over who wish to purchase or consume alcohol must provide valid photo identification. All patrons may be required to produce valid photo ID upon entry or while on site.
What happens if a minor is found drinking alcohol?
Any minor found consuming alcohol will have their ticket cancelled and will be removed from the Event. The matter may also be referred to NSW Police.
Can minors enter licensed or bar areas?
Access to certain areas may be restricted in accordance with the Event liquor licence. Designated 18 plus areas may operate within the Event site. Minors must not enter restricted areas.
What happens if a required Responsible Adult leaves the Event?
If a minor is required to be accompanied under the Event liquor licence and their Responsible Adult leaves the site, the minor may also be required to leave. If a minor is found unaccompanied or unsupervised where supervision is required, both the minor and the Responsible Adult may have their tickets cancelled and be removed from the Event.
Are there different rules for Mini Moo’s?
All persons under 18 are considered minors under NSW liquor law. Mini Moo’s must attend with a valid adult ticket holder and be properly supervised at all times.
Groovin the Moo is a large scale music festival with amplified sound, crowd movement and varying weather conditions. Parents and guardians should consider whether the environment is suitable for young children. Hearing protection is strongly recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Do minors need their own ticket?
Yes. All patrons, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket for entry unless otherwise specified by the Promoter. Mini Moo and Youth Tickets must be issued as Add Ons to a valid General Admission or Cream Of The Crop ticket.
How many minors can one Responsible Adult supervise?
For Groovin the Moo, one Responsible Adult aged 18 years or over may supervise a maximum of two minors at the Event.
Youth Tickets 12 to 17 years and Mini Moo tickets Under 12 must be purchased or redeemed as Add Ons to a valid General Admission or Cream Of The Crop ticket. A maximum ratio of one adult to two minors applies.
All minors must remain under the direct supervision of their Responsible Adult at all times while on site. If a minor is found unaccompanied or unsupervised where supervision is required, both the minor and their Responsible Adult may have their tickets cancelled and be removed from the Event.

Who is the official ticket provider?
Moshtix is the official ticketing partner for Groovin The Moo Lismore. Tickets should only be purchased through Moshtix, if you purchase tickets from a third party or unauthorised reseller there is no way to guarantee they are valid and may make you vulnerable to scams.
How can I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available to purchase online via Moshtix.
Are there any perks for Lismore Locals?
Sure is! Lismore locals who live in the 2480 postcode can access The Homegrown Groovers Presale from 9am AEDT Tues 3 March. The Homegrown Groovers Presale is available to residents within the Lismore City Council (2480 postcode) area.
Please note you may be requested to present ID which validates you live in 2480 at the event entry gates, if you are unable to provide verification, your entry may be denied.
What are the festival times?

Is the festival accessible?
Sure is. Groovin The Moo Lismore is for everyone. We’ll have accessibility facilities and services available, including a viewing platform. Accessible tickets can be purchased via Moshtix, and attendees requiring accessibility support should follow the instructions provided during the Moshtix purchase process to request assistance. Groovin’ 2026 has complimentary Companion Card tickets available, just reach out through Moshtix.

The 2026 Groovin The Moo Lismore event will be a single-stage, single-day show with camping passes available for Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May 2026.
