That’s a wrap on Groovin the Moo 2019! This year was so incredible – filled with unforgettable moments, amazing friendships…
Top 5 things to remember before you head to GTM!
The GTM 2019 tour kicks off tomorrow and we’re so excited to be partying with you all!
We know it’s an exciting time, so much so that you’re likely to forget a few key festival essentials and things to bring with you.
Here’s our top 5 things that you need to remember before you commence your GTM journey:
1.DOWNLOAD THE GTM APP:
Thanks to our pals at Spotify, the app is your go-to for all the festival info you need to know!
It’s got all the set times so you can create your festival schedule for the day (click the + button next to their set time to add), as well as all the festival FAQ’s and list of festival facilities and the event map.
DON’T FORGET: The app works offline! Check your schedule or find out all the info you need right at the festival no matter how much reception you have.
The app is now available to download now from:
2. PLAN YOUR JOURNEY:
Buses and trains are usually the easiest and most convenient way to get to GTM and home again. Head to your region below to sus out the bus and train options and start planning your journey!
3. YOUR TICKET:
Have you got it?
- If you purchased a hard ticket, make sure it’s packed! If you bought a ticket online, either print it out and pack it, or make sure it’s saved to your smart phone.
- If you purchased online but can’t seem to find it. DON’T STRESS! All you need to do is log back into your moshtix account and resend them to yourself! So easy.
4. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR ID:
If you’re UNDER 18
And you purchased your tickets from Moshtix you just need to bring one of the below as proof you are the ticket holder;
- ATM card
- School card
- Library card
- Bus pass
- Or some other form of ID that has your full name on it
If you purchased a hard ticket – you don’t need to worry about ID as the ticket doesn’t have your name on it.
If you’re 18+
To access the licensed area at GTM, you require the same valid, government issued ID that you would require to enter a nightclub. If you wouldn’t be allowed in a nightclub with the ID you have, then you won’t be allowed access to the 18+ zone at GTM.
- Valid photo ID includes one of the following:
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Current Passport
- Current state issued Proof of Age Card or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory
If you don’t have these, bring something with your name on it and you will just be given an under 18 wristband 🙂
5. BRING WARM CLOTHES:
Don’t forget to bring warm clothing incase it gets cold at night. We have a cloakroom on site for you to store your extra bags if you require. Cloakroom costs $5 and runs until 11pm at night.
Artist and GTM merch is also available on the day to purchase if you forget!
