A trip down memory lane with Paul Kelly

We have SO many legendary artists on the line up this year, there might be one you’re particularly familiar with but just don’t know it yet. Described as the poet laureate of Australian music, he taught us ‘How To Make Gravy’ all the way back in 1996. If that doesn’t spark anything, it’s time to get familiar with our own certified Aussie icon Paul Kelly!

A career that has spanned over 30 years and literally like a million songs is an impressive feat in itself. He’s recently started re-releasing his whole collection of timeless tracks on vinyl and started a Record Club video series – giving us an candid insight into the mind of a legendary voice and storyteller.

We’ve chosen to highlight two very important Record Club videos with unique and endearing stories behind them – 1989’s record ‘So Much Water So Close To Home’ from the Paul Kelly and the Messengers era and 1987’s ‘Under The Sun’ (of course) 😜
