Maitland Showground, Blomfield St, Maitland, NSW 2320
Sunday 24 April – Canberra ACT
Corner of Flemington Road & Northbourne Ave, Mitchell ACT 2911
Saturday 30 April – Bendigo VIC

CAN I GO TO GTM?
GTM is a licensed all ages event, however, we do recommend 16+. If you are under 16, we are still more than happy for you to come along, as long as you’ve cleared it with your parents.
Here are some tips from us:
– Come with a good group of friends
– Set up meeting points at the start of the day in case you get separated
– We also recommend you write down two friends’ numbers on your arm or on a piece of paper for your pocket/bag – best to include the number of one of your friends at the event and one adult who can help you out from home
– Most importantly, look after each other
We are expecting an excited crowd so GTM is not the best environment for small children, toddlers and infants.
NOTE TO PARENTS: It’s up to you to consider whether the event is appropriate for your child. If you would like to discuss this with someone from our office please get in touch with us at Moo HQ!
HOW DO I BUY MY TICKETS?
Everyone who wants to come along needs to buy a ticket.
Tickets for Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo will be on sale 8am local time on Monday 31 January, 2022. Once an event is sold out, there will be no more tickets available.
We (and we can’t stress this enough) don’t recommend purchasing tickets from any unofficial channels such as Via GoGo, eBay, Gumtree or unknown Facebook accounts as we cannot guarantee the legitimacy of these tickets.
HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY?
There is a limit of four (4) tickets per person.
IF I LOSE MY TICKET HOW CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?
When receiving your ticket via Moshtix make sure you save or file your email that has the PDF ticket attached so you can re-print your ticket!
If you delete or lose your email that has the PDF ticket attached, all you have to do is log into your Moshtix account and head to ‘My Account’ where you can reissue your ticket. Easy!
WHEN DOES GTM START AND FINISH?
Gates open at 10:30am with the first bands taking to the stage around 11:00am and the last band finishing around 10:30pm at all Groovin the Moo shows.
CAN I LEAVE GTM AND COME BACK IN?
No. There are NO PASSOUTS for any GTM event, so make sure you bring in everything you’ll need for the day (including a jumper for when the sun goes down).
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?
BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited. Security will be checking all bags and containers at the entrance and any alcohol found will be confiscated.
DRUGS AT GTM
Groovin the Moo does not condone any behaviour that may knowingly cause harm to an individual and encourages all patrons to take personal responsibility for their actions.
There are risks associated with drugs including adverse health reactions and criminal charges. Be mindful that Police sniffer dogs regularly attend Groovin the Moo, so to ensure you won’t miss out on any of the fun, don’t bring anything sniffable with you.
If you’re feeling unwell or you notice someone else who might need assistance, please reach out to the closest GTM Event, Security or Medical team member immediately. GTM has a range of services on site and we’re here to help, without judgement. Familiarise yourself with our event facilities, which can be found in the navigation menu above.
CAN I BRING A WATER BOTTLE WITH ME?
We are more than happy for you to bring a sealed or empty plastic water bottle to GTM.
We offer free water stations across the festival site for you to fill up your bottles throughout the day. Please note; soft drink, juice, milk, energy drinks, flavoured water and sports water are not permitted to be brought into the festival.
CAN I BRING MY FOOD WITH ME?
Yes, food is welcome.
Feel free to pack a lunch, as long as it fits into your backpack. Please do not bring eskies, picnic blankets or baskets, folding chairs, glass containers, knives and any other bulky or sharp items. Security guards will be checking bags at the gate and will confiscate prohibited items.
I NEED TO BRING MY MEDICATION WITH ME, HOW DO I DO THIS?
If you need to bring in prescription or over-the-counter medication, you will need to make sure it is clearly labelled and preferably in it’s original packaging.
Please be aware security may ask GTM’s medical team to check your medication upon arrival.
If you’re unsure or have any questions, get in touch with the GTM Ticketing Team.
IS GTM ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE?
Yes it is. Groovin the Moo accommodates for people with accessibility requirements, is wheelchair accessible and supports the companion program.
Please note: We are expecting an excitable crowd so GTM is not the best environment for small children, toddlers and infants.
Please get in touch directly with GTM Ticketing team for specific event information in regards to access for patrons who have accessibility requirements, mobility restrictions and to discuss companion arrangements.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA TO GTM?
First and foremost, please respect the privacy of all other patrons, artists and service providers at GTM when using your camera or mobile phone to take photos.
Professional still cameras (such as an SLR), professional video cameras (including go-pros), sound recording equipment and professional lighting and tripod set ups are not permitted at GTM without written authority from the Promoters
- Any patron with equipment of this description won’t be allowed to bring it in
- It will be up to the patron to find somewhere to store it until the end of the event or choose to not enter the event
Small still cameras (including those with a recording function) and mobile phones are permitted for your own personal use, however:
- Any photos or footage taken cannot be sold or published without written authority from the Promoters
- Any photos or footage taken is to be used for your personal use only – sharing it with friends via uploading it to your personal Facebook and Instagram account is fine
- Before you upload something to Facebook or Instagram, have a think about whether you’d be happy with someone else uploading that exact photo or footage of you. It might seem funny at the time, but possibly not the following day
CAN I BRING MY PET?
As much as we love animals, you cannot bring your pet to GTM. Service dogs are an exception. Please get in touch with the GTM Ticketing team if you have any questions or enquiries about this.
CAN I CAMP AT GTM?
There is NO CAMPING at GTM. Check out the Travel section to find some suggestions on where you and your friends can stay.
CAN I BUY ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AT GTM?
Patrons 18 years of age and over are permitted to buy alcohol at GTM, provided you bring valid photo ID with you.
The only forms of valid photo ID that will be accepted are a current passport, a valid Australian driver’s licence with a photograph or Proof of Age card or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory.
CAN I BUY FOOD AT GTM?
GTM will have a diverse selection of mouth-watering catering options to give you the sustenance you need to make it through until the end of the night!
You will find something to cater to all tastes from sweet to savoury, from local providers to festival favourites (yes, that includes gozleme), a delicious selection of international flavours and a number of vegetarian and vegan options too!
If you have specific dietary requirements, we do recommend you play it safe and bring along some snacks to get you through in case our caterers can’t meet your needs.
If you’d like further information, please get in touch with Moo HQ.
WILL THERE BE ATM’S ON SITE?
We do provide ATM facilities on site but they tend to be quite popular. All bars will have PayWave just in case you run out of or forget to grab some cash.
WILL THERE BE MERCHANDISE FOR SALE?
Yes. Bands will be selling their merch and there will be an exclusive range of GTM goodies available on the day.
WHAT IF I LOSE A PERSONAL ITEM AT GTM?
The Helpdesk is the place to go to hand in a lost item you’ve found at the event, or to see if someone has handed in an item lost by you or a friend.
Items not collected at the end of the night will be retained at the event site by GTM for one (1) day post event then all valuables will be handed over to either the local Police or venue management depending on the show.
Any non-valuable items (such as clothing) not collected by this time will be donated to a local charity organisation.
Check out GTM’s facebook page after the event for details on how to collect any personal items found after the event has finished.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY FRIENDS AT GTM?
Make a meeting place BEFORE you get to GTM! The official Meeting Place at GTM is the big set times tower (you can’t miss it). If you want to make a second meeting place, we recommend the Helpdesk.
Another tip? Don’t rely on your mobile phone! The battery may run out or reception may be hard to get. We recommend you write down two numbers on your arm or on a piece of paper for your pocket/bag. Best to include the number of one of your friends at the event and one adult who can help you out from home.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
GTM will go ahead rain or shine.
If it looks like it’s going to rain, by all means bring a poncho or rain coat and your gumboots, but please leave your umbrella (all kinds) at home.
CAN I VOLUNTEER AT GTM?
Thanks for your interest in becoming a volunteer! We actually already work with community groups in each region who fill out our volunteer roster. Keep an eye out for who they are in the coming months and you may want to sign up to get involved.
We definitely look to provide opportunities for super duper keen beans though! If you have a clear vision of what department you would like to work in and learn more about, and you think you could make an excellent addition to the team, email our team manager your CV, age, address and a little introduction about yourself, your skills and your goals. Please note we do prioritise our community groups as we have been working with them since GTM was a wee calf! But we will do our best to try and hook you up with some work experience.
CAN I WORK AT GTM?
We’re always happy to hear from people wanting to be involved with GTM! Check out our contacts page to see who you should talk to.
Don’t forget, when getting in touch always let us know which event you’d like to work at and include your resume.
Groovin the Moo is a touring festival that travels across state borders, welcomes International Artists and a large number of patrons. We have taken into account all three of our state’s requirements and it’s a condition of entry that people who are 18 years of age and older need to show proof of being fully vaccinated or be able to show a valid medical contraindication certificate issued by a medical practitioner in the form approved by the Chief Health Officer to enter Groovin the Moo 2022. Having this in place gives GTM2022 the best possible chance to go ahead as planned! The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron who cannot comply.
Friendly reminder that if you are not feeling well, have any flu like symptoms or are waiting on a PCR test result to please stay home and book in to see your GP.
Remember to be mindful of your fellow Moo Crew’s space, wash your hands after you go to the loo and use the hand sanitiser provided throughout the site.
We are so excited to be back after two years in the back paddock!! Let’s get groovin 🐮💕
