SKEGSS are the DIY, beer-drinking, self-producing maniacs from the surf coast who make easy-breezy, carefree surf rock tunes, reminiscent of youthful days.

The boys signed to Dune Rats’ label Ratbag Records early on for their debut EP 50 PUSH UPS FOR A DOLLAR but it was their follow-up Everyone Is Good At Something that put them everyone’s radar. SKEGSS have proven to be one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming bands, producing gnarly tracks like ‘L.S.D’, ‘Eat It’, ‘Spring Has Sprung’ and ‘Got On My Skateboard’.

The Byron based three-piece have just blazed through a huge international tour for their latest EP Holiday Food including their own U18’s festival ‘Spaghetti Fest’. The lads are known for producing some of the “messiest and wildest” of gigs, having amassed a cult following, selling out multiple shows and getting festival slots on Mountain Sounds, Yours & Owls, Sounds of the Suburbs, THE PLOT and now they hit Groovin the Moo in 2018.

Skegss drop ripper tune ‘Up In The Clouds’

YEW 🤙 know it’s a good Tuesday when ya boys Skegss drop a brand new track + video clip JUST in time for GTM.

It’s more of the same scallywag surf rock you’ve come to expect from the Byron Bay locals with a subtle hit of mature and more serious undertones.

The video clip reflects this before ripping into fun times, mischief, cows, beers and mates – a fitting summary of the band, maybe minus the cow bit.

It’s the perfect GTM road trip track to get down to, so we hope you dig it as much as we do!
