Royal Blood

Forming in Brighton in 2013, Royal Blood’s self-titled first record became the UK’s fastest selling rock debut in three years upon its release in 2014. Hit singles ‘Out of the Black’ and ‘Little Monster’ received widespread praise and earned them a nomination for BBC Sound of 2014, while their glorious track ‘Figure It Out’ has over 15 million views on YouTube and almost 50 million plays on Spotify.

The duo’s follow-up release How Did We Get So Dark? has been quick to follow suit, debuting at #1 on the UK Albums Chart, #4 in the ARIA Album Charts and #6 in the NZ Album Charts. With hit tracks ‘Lights Out’, ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’ and ‘Hook, Line & Sinker’ gaining over 19 million streams collectively since April.

They’re no strangers to the Australian festival circuit, stopping by last year, smashing Splendour in the Grass and now they’re ready to bring their breakneck set to GTM 2018!

INTRODUCING: ROYAL BREW

Just ahead of the GTM tour kicking off next week, we are SO stoked to announce that we’ve partnered up with our friends at Capital Brewing Co, Cattleyard Brewing Co and ROYAL BLOOD to create a juicy collaboration beer; Royal Brew.

‘We’re pretty chuffed to brew a beer with our mates at Capital and Cattleyard’ said Royal Blood’s bassist and lead vocalist Mike Kerr. ‘We love beer and can’t wait to share a Royal Brew with the crowd at Groovin the Moo’

The beer is (for obvious reasons) a New England IPA, but is also crammed full of blood orange juice. GEDDIT? Royal Blood, Blood Orange! Ha!

We couldn’t be more excited to get our hands on one of these limited edition beers and you can too! The limited release brew will be first available at Capital’s Official GTM Launch Party on Thursday night at their Fyshwick Tap Room and then at Groovin the Moo Canberra. A very limited number of kegs will then be released to select venues around the country.

Get a Royal Blood Orange Brew in ya! 🍻
